One of the worst experiences I ever had any Taj Properties and unfortunately it came at their premier and flag ship property. Unfortunately faced multiple issues and Property manager & staff was not even willing to accept the issue. To suppress & hide the issue a bribe of Free Lunch was offered (Which I dined)... Here is the detailed review 1. I had booked Sea view Cottage (by paying extra) but the one allotted was Garden Facing... When I complained that it's not sea view room, their team member took me to garden and told that the sea is visible from here and it is sea view room. 2. I wanted to extend the stay and room was available and they confirmed that the booking for additional day but later denied when I had complained about the room. 3. It is one of the 5-star hotel where They kept me waiting for room for almost 2-3 hrs after legal check-in time and not even offered any welcome drink... they don't even had a courtesy to offer water. 4. Food was very ordinary and almost repetition every day... 5. Staff if very arrogant and harsh with customers including the Hotel Manager (as per his claim)... When I requested to speak to Hotel GM, they have refused to connect neither given his contact details... 6. I had not booked the hotel under any offer and had a vaild hotel vouchers but they denied to accept the same citing that I have taken the offer while booking the room... Overall very pathetic and bad experience... Probably a last experience at Taj Property...

The Hotel is nice with amazing gardens and wonderful view of the sea along with Aguada fort. The hotel is branded one obviously its TAJ, one of the best brand in India and worldwide. The food is nice. There are many restaurants within the Hotel. The hotel has sauna, SPA, swimming pool, large space for gardens. Pick-up and drop facility in a electric buggy from reception to room. The rooms are cozy and nice. The staff and services are too good.

It was my first stay visit to Goa, although it was very short but very special Thanks to Chef Kapil for remembering my Dosa preferences from day 1 till my last day, and Restaurant Manager Sunil Sir who was available for all my single request. The last day I couldn’t have my regular dosa because I had my breakfast at holiday village early in the morning. Upon my checkout when I informed Sunil Sir I’m missing my Dosa today which chef kapil used to prepare every day for me, without any conditions and second thoughts the Dosa with chef kapil and sunil came to my table. They went above and beyond to make my stay memorable with u guys. There was a lady Ms. Cynthia, she really help at the last minute to get my phone fixed otherwise it will be very difficult for me to travel. One very big shout out I want to give to the buggy driver in the holiday village, although I don’t know his name but early morning he gave me buggy trip to holiday village around 6:30am, he explained everything very nicely. I offered him tip and he mentioned he already paid well for whatever he is doing he doesn’t want anything extra. To be honest I never saw this much nice person in any hotel so far. Taj Fort Aguada the first 5 star hotel in Goa has beautiful view of Aguada fort , Sinquerim beach and Arabian sea.. The landscaping is beautiful with greenary, chirping birds and divine serenity . The beautiful villas and cottages are located surrounded by trees. We had booked a cottage for 3 adults. Cynthia was brilliant at the reception and did the check in very swiftly. The cottage was luxurious, very cozy and artistically designed. We had dinner at Kokum kitchen which was fabulous. Mr Sairaj was excellent and served us excellent delicious food. Mr Sunil Dharwadkar , in charge , was very helpful and gracious . He made us very comfortable and served us super food at the Goan restaurant Morisco. Food was just amazing .. Also Mr Gajanand from housekeeping was very kind enough to show us the Villa.. Overall this was one of the best experiences I have had .... It is just different when you are in TAJ....
